  Ganesha Dharma Protector

Ganesha, also named “Ganapati”, is a Dharma Protector of Buddhas in Tibetan Buddhism as well as an esteemed deity in Hinduism. Different parts of Ganesha's body and ritual implements he holds have different symbolic meanings: a giant head for boundless wisdom, big ears for his will to listen to prayers and miseries of mankind, small eyes for concentration, a small mouth for silence, broken tusks for his sacrifice for human beings, an axe for breaking of deluded thoughts, a noose for binding all evil deeds, sweet balls in hands for fruitful Buddhahood. This statue of Ganesha appears with an elephant head and a human body. He holds a Mala and forms an Abhaya mudra with his right front hand. He has some sweet balls in his left front hand while a noose in his left upper hand. Carved with a complete piece of valuable black stone, this shiny and delicate stone statue is originated from India.
