Mr. Jørgen Møllegaard
Consul-General of Denmark

It is a great opportunity for me to congratulate Dr. Paul Kan and all organizers behind this unique exhibition “Peace and Harmony”.

From Chinese culture you learn plenty of analysis on how the world runs itself and how we human beings should live in peace and harmony with Nature. Today we observe, however, how the human beings are damaging our planet through pollution of air, water, and soil. If we do not stop this pollution the damage will soon be irreparable. This autumn the keywords in Denmark, as the host in December of the biggest ever international UN conference, COP-15, on climate change, are “challenges of climate change, pollution, sustainable energy, reduction of carbon emission, CO2 quotas etc.” The aim of the Danish government is that the conference in Copenhagen will result in an ambitious global agreement incorporating all countries in the world. The Peace and Harmony exhibition and the book published concurrent with the exhibition contains a tremendous lot of wisdom for the participants in COP-15, and the opening of Peace and Harmony and the publishing of the book could not come at a better time.

I am convinced that all the visitors of the exhibition and readers of the book will be given a great experience that will make the world a better place.
