I would like to convey my sincere congratulations to Champion Technology Holdings Limited and you especially for putting together such a unique exhibition of “Peace and Harmony – The Divine Spectra of Manjusri enshrining the Wisdom of China with 108 pieces of Manjusri and Related Artifacts”.

I can imagine that bringing together such a vast collection of Manjusri related statues must have been a difficult task. But the cultural and spiritual enrichment, which the exhibition will provide to the Hong Kong visitors, will certainly be worth that effort. Manjusri, who has been respected as the reincarnated Emperor of China, was properly chosen to stand as the centrepiece of the exhibition, which aims to promote rich cultural and artistic values of Chinese people and history. Peace and harmony – two goals, which Manjusri wholeheartedly strived to pursue, are part of a neverending quest of the whole mankind, be it Chinese civilization or other nations. As such, the exhibition will be a highly memorable event not only for Hong Kong residents, but also for many foreigners who call a cosmopolitan city of Hong Kong their home. I am confident that the exhibited artifacts will evoke compassion and help visitors in their search for peace in mind and harmony in soul in today's world.

Let me wish you a great success in organizing such a prestigious event that appropriately follows up on the 2007 exhibition of Avalokitesvara related artifacts and amply contributes to the celebrations that commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China.
