On behalf of the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary and myself I sincerely congratulate Champion Technology Holdings Ltd. for the highly dedicated work of putting together such a wonderful collection of artworks encompassing the cultural history of China through the portrayals of Avalokitesvara or Guan Yin from different times and places. The numerous colours and materials of the various depictions of Avalokitesvara and her transcending great compassion for mankind, duly express the multicoloured, compassionate and philanthropic nature of the people of Hong Kong. These artifacts send the message of peace and compassion to us Hungarians too and help us find our way back to our root of origin somewhere on the territory of present day China that we had left several centuries ago.
