Legacies of the glorious days include the Dunhuang Caves, a world-famous gem of Buddhist art and culture; the “Agarwood Pavilion”, which bears an anecdote between Emperor Ming of Tang and Consort Yang in the ancient capital of Chang'an; and the painting “Along the River during the Qingming Festival”, which captures the prosperous scenes of Bianliang, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty.
